JROTC practices, prepares for out of state trip

Zach Hansen, Business Manager

The North High School JROTC program will be looking forward to two events that were supposed to take place in February but have been since moved to March due to weather.

A color guard competition was held Mar. 2, and the results of the biathlon have come back. North’s Alyssa Burk took third and Jonah Adams took fourth
in the individual top scorer out of the top five.

The Viking Cup show choir competition saw 20 of North’s cadets providing courtesy patrols and helping with the competition.

The Viking battalion is in full swing with this being their competition season. They are currently practicing for their future color guard and drill team competitions.
