Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is an after-school club that offers many valuable experiences if you want to join the medical field.

HOSA is sponsored by Amanda Fricke and Alexander Anton, science teachers at North. Throughout the year, HOSA will have competitions and events that they go to and compete in. There is a leadership conference that they will be attending on October 8th.

Their biggest competition occurs in March. With HOSA, students get the chance to see if the medical field is something that they want to pursue since they get hands on practice and opportunities to see what they will have to do when it comes to their future job.
