The Mandalorian, which is the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise is back with another season. The series first premiered on November 12, 2019. Set five years after the fall of the Empire, The Mandalorian follows a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. He is hired to retrieve “The Child,” and chooses to go on the run and protect the infant.  

The first season which had just eight episodes received many positive reviews, with a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.8/10 on iMDb. Out of 21,212 audience ratings, the show has an average of a 4.8/5 rating. It was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards and won seven Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The second season of the show premiered on October 30, with a new episode releasing every Friday.
